Search terms entered into the sponsored search forms are sent to the provider operating those results. Our own service does not keep a copy of a reader's name, phone number, or address search. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted services, the site may receive ordinary server-log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general traffic.
How Information Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, security, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and replies to messages. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual readers from the reference pages.
External Services and Links
Hopewell pages link to government offices, courts, libraries, archives, and other official services. Those destinations control the information submitted there under their own policies. The same is true for sponsored results supplied by a third party.

Hosting, analytics, security, and advertising providers may process the automatic data described above on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law, needed to protect users or the service, or connected with a business transfer.
Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures for the limited data we handle. No internet transmission or storage method is perfectly secure, so readers should avoid sending sensitive personal information through an ordinary contact message.
Children's Privacy
This reference is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may ask us to review and delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
You may ask about personal information supplied in a message, request correction or deletion where applicable, and use browser controls to manage cookies.
